This Chester County Armory listing is for a Winchester M14 7.62x51mm NATO transferable machine gun reactivated and NFA registered by Charles Erb. 

Remanufactured from an original saw cut Winchester M14 receiver and original USGI parts, Charles Erb’s renowned gunsmithing skills are clearly on display here as a superb re-activation of a Winchester M14. This model features a like-new DoD marked walnut stock and forend as well as an original M14 bipod. It also comes with an original, post-Vietnam correct Leatherwood ART II 3X9 scope and mount. This weapon has been fully inspected and tested, and performs and functions flawlessly. 

This model is in fantastic mechanical condition, with only very limited wear markings noted on the original internals. the receiver reweld is absolutely fantastic. It is completely unnoticeable in texture and only observed at all by an ever-so slight coloration.  The bolt face remains crisp and clean with only minor wear observed. The rifle bore remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The scope is fully functional with beautiful, clear, scratch-free glass. This weapon system notes no functional or operational concerns, whatsoever.   

Cosmetically, this M14 select-fire machine gun appears in well above average condition. The metalwork finish is very good to excellent with a clean, consistent gray parkerization.  Some minor physical spots are observed prior to the parkerization, but nothing that is more than slight surface deep. The edges of the original bolt assembly note only minor wear marks in the original finish. The exterior of the barrel remains clean with all of its original exterior finish. The wood stock and forend are both like-new, with beautiful wood grain and almost no handling marks observed. This particular M14 machine gun is a great investment model for the collector who wishes to be able to shoot his machine gun without hurting the investment value.  In addition to the scope and bipod, purchase of this weapon will include three 20rd magazines,  a leather sling, and a Butler Creek front and rear flip-up endcaps for the scope. 

This NFA registered transferable select-fire machine gun is currently on a Form 3 that lists “Erb, Charles” as the manufacturer and “M14” as the model.
