This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarely seen as a full transferable model, Israeli factory original IMI / Israeli Military Industries Uzi SMG 9mm submachine gun.

This spectacular transferable model is an Uzi collector and aficionado’s dream…a true, completely Israeli factory-built original submachine gun, manufactured by the state-owned Israeli Military Industries in Israel. This model is not a conversion gun. It was originally built in Israel as a machine gun and imported into the US directly to a law enforcement agency by Action Arms, LTD of Philadelphia, PA. This allowed it to be classified by ATF as a fully transferable model, even as a post 1968 foreign made machine gun.  In addition to it’s current Form 3 status as transferable, we do also possess an ATF letter acknowledging that this machine gun is transferable to individuals. A copy of this letter will be provided to the purchaser.

This highly collectible Uzi SMG features an Israeli for export A R S marked lower, 10.2″ SMG barrel, original SMG front and rear sights, and (most importantly for true factory-built Uzi submachine guns) the receiver formed SMG feed ramp. This is a black finished model, as was common for  many 1980’s IMI models for sales to LE and government agencies such as the FBI. This model currently features both an original folding stock as well as an Israeli wood stock. It will come with one 32rd factory original black magazine.

Mechanically, this weapon is in excellent condition.  The bolt face remains crisp, clean, and well-defined. The bolt and receiver note only minimal wear marks in the finish. The internal fire controls display only use and wear marks. The barrel bore remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The metalwork is solid, with no dents, dings, cracks, malformations, etc. As a factory machine gun, it obviously will take all original SMG parts.

Cosmetically, the exterior finish on this submachine gun notes minor light surface scratches and handling marks in its original black factory finish at various points (see photos).  The polymer grip and forend remain in excellent condition with minimal observed markings. The wood stock is also beautiful, with no cracks, chips, etc. observed.

This rare, original investment grade Israeli factory-built transferable Uzi submachine gun is currently on a Form 3 that lists “Israeli Military Industries” as the manufacturer and “Uzi” as the model.
