This Chester County Armory listing is for a semi-automatic Heckler & Koch Model HK53 5.56mm NATO sear-ready semi-automatic short barrel rifle.

This excellent host model SBR was originally created as a sear host machine gun using an original HK 93 receiver by Vollmer Manufacturing in Bloomington, IL. It was then professionally converted into an HK 53 using original German parts along with an RCM HK 53 barrel. This model was then divorced from the installed HK sear to create a semi-auto host gun and SBR registered by Spring Valley Armament LLC in Centre, AL. While the originally installed sear was divorced and removed,  this model does retain the original engraved information from Vollmer Manufacturing. This rifle is a currently a semi-automatic only model, however it is set up to be sear-ready for your NFA registered sear or trigger pack.

This beautiful SBR features an HK 53 correct 8.3″ length barrel by RCM, a Heckler & Koch A2 buffered stock, a vented MP5 wide handguard, and the receiver has been correctly remarked to read “HK 53” as the model.  The semi-auto trigger housing is an 0,1 Navy style pictogram housing with an extended left side control lever that has been properly clipped and pinned for use.

This SBR is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The bolt carrier group and internals note very little wear, outside of a few marks on the bolt head. The bore is bright and shiny, with crisp, clean rifling. Cosmetically, the exterior finish is in like new condition, and notes only a few minor handling marks in the matte black finish. The polymer buffered stock displays some minor handling marks in the exterior polymer. The trigger housing and vented forearm are in like new condition.

This model is currently on an eForm 3 that lists the manufacturer as “Spring Valley Armament LLC” and the model as “HK53.”
