This Chester County Armory listing is for a factory German original, Heckler & Koch HK 33 A2 5.56mm NATO fully transferable select fire machine gun. This is a German Heckler & Koch factory built original transferable machine gun that was imported into the US as a machine gun. It is not a conversion model.
This exceptional weapon was originally made in Oberndorf, West Germany in 1981 by Heckler & Koch GmbH as a factory machine gun. It was then subsequently imported by H&K themselves into the United States as a direct sale for a US Law Enforcement agency. Based on BATFE’s import rules and provisions in the Gun Control Act of 1968 (as well as designations made in the Firearm Owner’s Protection Act of 1986), this allows models meeting certain LE use and purchase requirements to be classified as transferable models upon release by the LE agency, even though it is a post-1968 foreign-made machine gun.
As an original, H&K factory production gun, this transferable select-fire machine gun features the H&K machine gun push pin design that allows all H&K factory trigger packs to be installed. It has been updated with a brand new condition German factory Heckler & Koch original three position Navy ambidextrous trigger pack with 0,1,F fire modes. This weapon also will come with a new condition MKE A3 buffered collapsible stock in addition to the original HK factory A2 fixed stock. Purchase of this model will also include the original HK factory SEF trigger pack with the contoured polymer trigger housing and a 25rd HK factory magazine that is IE date coded.
Overall, this model is in excellent mechanical and operational condition. Mechanically, it has been fully inspected and test-fired. It operates flawlessly with standard SAAMI spec 5.56mm NATO ammunition. The original factory bolt carrier notes only minor finish wear. The bolt face remains crisp and clean. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The factory original SEF three position trigger pack and fire controls note only minor markings and limited wear. The factory 3-position ambidextrous Navy housing and trigger pack are in factory new condition. The included MKE A3 stock is also in factory new condition.
Cosmetically, this weapon is in very good condition. The original metalwork and HK dark gray to black factory finish is solid with only minor surface handling and use marks observed in the exterior finish. There are some minor chips in the paint at spots, but nothing that is more than visually cosmetic in nature. The original fixed stock, polymer trigger housing, and forend note only minor surface scratches and marks.
This fantastic, investment-grade, German factory manufactured Heckler & Koch transferable HK33 A2 / A3 machine gun is currently on a Form 3 for easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork lists “Heckler and Koch GmbH” as the manufacturer and “HK33A2” as the model.
