Status: In-Stock / Please Call to Purchase

This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarity in the NFA transferable world: a fully transferable, consecutive serial numbered pair of all-German constructed, Heckler & Koch MP5A3 9mm submachine guns. The serial numbers on these models are “C319021” and “C319022”, respectively. This is the first time Chester County Armory has ever had the privilege of offering for sale (or for that matter even seeing for sale) two original, German factory-built Heckler & Koch machine guns that are fully NFA transferable to an individual collector!

Both of these models were originally made in Oberndorf, West Germany in 1985 by Heckler & Koch GmBH. They were then subsequently imported by H&K themselves into the United States as a direct sale for a US Law Enforcement agency. Based on BATFE’s import rules and provisions in the Gun Control Act of 1968 (as well as designations made in the Firearm Owner’s Protection Act of 1986), this allows models meeting certain LE use and purchase requirements to be considered as transferable models upon release by the LE agency, even though they are post-1968 foreign-made machine guns.

As original, H&K factory production guns, these models feature the machine gun double push pin design that allows all H&K factory trigger packs to be installed. These models have both been already upgraded to HK’s latest four position Navy packs with the three round burst option. Both feature original HK tri-lug factory barrels and A3 telescoping stocks. The date codes on the receiver of each model is IF for 1985. Both bolt heads also note IF date codes. The only difference observed is serial number 1 notes a bolt carrier date of IF, while the bolt carrier on serial number 2 notes an IE code. Purchase of these two models will include two 30rd factory HK magazines, and will also include two factory HK A2 solid rifle stocks, as well. These models are being offered for sale as consecutive pair, only.

Both of these models are in spectacular, well-above average condition for former Law Enforcement agency owned firearms. While these are used models, it appears they have been either extraordinary maintained, or where perhaps “armory extras” that saw little use. Physical condition on both of these models are outstanding! The metalwork is solidly intact on both models, with no concerns noted. The barrels remain bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The bolt carrier groups note only minor finish wear markings. The bolt faces remains crisp and well defined. The upgraded Navy fire control groups are in factory new condition.

Cosmetically, both of these models are in excellent, like new condition with very minimal handling and use marks observed in the H&K slight gloss finishes. There are no dents, scratches, cracks, malformations, or any causes for concern in the metalwork. The polymer forends,  stocks,  and trigger housings are all in either new or like new appearance condition.

This magnificent set of fully transferable German factory original submachine guns are currently on eForm 3’s for quick and easy transfer. The current Form 3 for each of this models list “Imported NFA Firearm” as the manufacturer and “MP5A3” as the model.
