This Chester County Armory listing is for a fantastic example of an original Belgium manufactured FAL Pre-May Dealer Sample Only machine gun, built entirely in-house by FN Herstal.
Known as “The right arm of the free world”, due to the availability, accessibility, and various configurations of the FAL type rifles that proliferate throughout the free world’s militaries, this model was built in Belgium by FN Herstal. Featuring a fixed stock and full-length barrel, this Pre-May Dealer Sample Only machine gun is in excellent mechanical and functional condition. the The weapon functions flawlessly with standard NATO ammunition. The internals note only minor wear. The bore remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The bolt assembly notes only minor finish wear and a crisp, clean bolt face. The metalwork notes no dings, dents, cracks, malformations, etc. The action remains smooth and fluid.
Cosmetically, this weapon displays minor to moderate handling and use marks in the original exterior finish. The polymer furniture is also solid with handling and use marks observed.
This Pre-May Dealer Sample Only FAL machine gun is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for fast and easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “FN (Herstal)” as the manufacturer and “FNFAL” as the model.
