Vector Arms Inc. Mini Uzi 9mm Parabellum Unfired Factory Original Transferable Submachine Gun

Status: SALE PENDING

This Chester County Armory listing is for an original, factory-built Vector Arms Inc. Mini Uzi 9mm transferable submachine gun. This model is one owner submachine gun and is unfired outside of any factory testing that was performed by Vector Arms before it was originally first sold as new.

First introduced in 1980, the Mini Uzi was the first attempt to shrink the size of the venerable Uzi SMG platform into a smaller, faster, lighter, and, in turn, more clandestine version. The Mini Uzi improved on Uzi Galil’s already fabulous platform by simply shortening the barrel length, and shrinking the overall length of the weapon. The shortened upper, of course, necessitated the use of shortened, lighter bolt. This change then increased the cyclic firing rate of the Mini Uzi up to about 950rds per minute from the 600rd threshold of the full-size model.

Vector Arms Inc was one the few manufacturers to ever domestically build true UZI SMG factory machine guns in the United States as fully transferable models. By using original Group Industries NFA registered Uzi SMG receivers and completing them with a collection of IMI and US parts (as well as a small fraction of South African parts and sometimes parts from other IMI licensed manufacturers), Vector Arms Inc. created some of the most reliable and desirable Uzi models available in the US. This Mini Uzi version is strongly prized by machine gun collectors and shooters, alike. This particular version is being offered in unfired condition in its original Vector Arms box, along with its original factory manual and magazine.

Overall, this transferable machine gun setup is in excellent, like new condition. This model is a one owner weapon that the previous owner has stated has never been fired, and was acquired solely as an investment weapon directly from Vector in 2003. By all impressions, this appears to be accurate, as the bolt, fire controls, barrel, and interior receiver all are in like-new condition, with no wear noted. Externally, this transferable SMG also notes a beautiful, factory original parkerized finish with almost no handling marks observed (see photos).  The only visible marks are on the top cover from physical actuation of the bolt cocking knob, which typically even showed marks directly purchased from the Vector factory. This transferable submachine gun proudly displays its original wire folding stock and shortened receiver that the Mini Uzis are noted for, as well as the 7.8″ ported Mini Uzi barrel.

This gorgeous, fully transferable Vector Mini Uzi submachine gun is currently on a Form 3 for easy eForm transfer. In keeping with all Vector factory built machine guns, the NFA paperwork lists the manufacturer as “Group Industries” and the model as “HR4332” as the original NFA registrant of the machine gun receiver prior to its completion into a functional model.
