This Chester County Armory listing is for a factory original Sturm Ruger Model AC-556K .223REM/5.56mm NATO fully transferable factory machine gun.

This four-position factory select fire machine gun was designed, built, and NFA registered by the Sturm Ruger factory, themselves and is not a converted semi-auto model. Originally marketed to Law Enforcement as an alternative to the M16, this factory variant of the AC-556 line is an AC556K version, which features the blue Ruger factory finish along with a factory 13″ barrel and factory folding stock. This select-fire machine gun also proudly operates with fire positions fire controls for safe, semi-automatic, three round burst, and full-automatic.

Overall, this weapon is in excellent condition. Mechanically, this firearm functions flawlessly. The metalwork is solidly intact, with no dents, dings, cracks, malformations, etc. The bolt assembly notes minor finish wear, but the rails are solid and the bolt face remains crisp and clean. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The original birch wood stock notes some minor handling indentations at spots, but no cracks, splits, etc. Cosmetically, this model is in very good condition, with only minor handling and use marks observed in the original factory finish (see photos).
