M2 Carbine NFA Registered Transferable Machine Gun Trigger Housing w/ Multiple Host Guns – Winchester M1 Carbine and Iver Johnson Enforcer Pistol

$18,000.00

Status: In Stock / Please Call to Purchase

This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarely seen M2 Carbine transferable machine gun trigger guard housing. The housing is the NFA registered component and may be moved freely from host to host in the M1/M2 genre of weapons.

This transferable machine gun was created by means of a Form 2 Registration of the trigger guard housing by Tom’s Gun Shop in Hollywood, FL, utilizing an original Inland manufacturer M2 trigger housing as the basis of the machine gun. The trigger housing is the registered part, and the internal fire control parts are not proprietary.  Purchase of this transferable machine gun pack will include two separate host guns. Host number one is an Iver Johnson Enforcer .30 cal M1 pistol. Host number two is a Winchester .30 cal M1 Carbine with the Vietnam Era upgrades and an M2 stock with metal handguard. Also included in this package are five total magazines (one 10rd mag, one 15rd used magazine, one 15rd new Korean magazine in its sealed original packaging, one 30rd USGI magazine, and one 35rd aftermarket magazine),  a USGI M1 Carbine sling, and the original Winchester M1 Carbine stock. The Iver Johnson host pistol has had the M2 control lever slot cut into the stock to allow for installation of the M2 machine gun parts. The Winchester M1 Carbine will come with its original semi-auto trigger pack, however the Iver Johnson pistol does not.

Overall, these setups are in excellent mechanical condition. The finish on the trigger guard notes minor wear, but all components are in excellent condition with no concerns. This M2 Carbine transferable machine gun pack functions perfectly in both weapon hosts using standard USGI magazines. Neither has been tested with the aftermarket magazine, but we typically expect more failures to occur with that type of magazine, as the lockups of aftermarket magazines are typically not as secure in the M1/M2 models as USGI magazines are noted to be.

The host weapons are both in excellent mechanical condition as wear, with only minor cosmetic wear noted on the bolt and operational assemblies. The bores on each weapon remain bright and shiny with crisp clean rifling. Both stocks and chassis are in excellent condition, as well, with only minor handling marks observed and no cracks, dents, etc. noted in the wood. The Winchester M1 Carbine will come with its original semi-auto trigger pack, however the Iver Johnson pistol does not.

This NFA registered transferable machine gun trigger guard  is currently on a Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA Form 3 lists “Form 2 Registration” as the manufacturer and “M2” as the model. Both host weapons will transfer as standard semi-automatic Title One firearms (rifle and pistol, respectively).
