This Chester County Armory listing is for a Heckler & Koch G3 7.62x51mm NATO / .308REM front push pin receiver fully transferable machine gun.
This beautiful and stunning, like new, NFA transferable machine gun started off life as an early SACO imported, all-German production Heckler & Koch HK 91 semi-automatic rifle. The date code on this receiver is 1974, making it one of the earliest versions imported into the US. The model was NFA registered with “US” as the manufacturer and “91” as the model. This is a front push pin converted version, so it will accept all factory HK machine gun trigger packs.
This model has recently been professionally fully updated to complete G3 specs by renowned HK Gunsmith Ralph Smith Sr of RDTS Manufacturing. This transferable machine gun features a G3 correct barrel with grenade ring, an HK paddle magazine release, an HK contract factory EBO tungsten full auto G3 bolt carrier (which creates a smoother and less punishing firing experience over a standard carrier), an original HK extended charging handle, and has been correctly restamped to read “G3” as the model. It has also been completely refinished in an RDTS’s HK Exact Black, and fully test fired to guarantee reliability. This model also features Heckler & Koch four position fire controls (safe, semi-automatic, three round burst, and full-automatic) in a Navy style ambidextrous HK G3 correct rear double push pin trigger housing, along with a folding G3 correct HK bipod. Purchase of this model will include two 20rd original HK magazines (one steel, one aluminum) and an original German surplus field cleaning kit.
This transferable NFA registered receiver machine gun is in absolutely stunning, like new condition both mechanically and cosmetically! Mechanically, this model has been test fired and functions flawlessly with standard SAAMI 7.62mm NATO and .308REM ammunition. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The EBO tungsten bolt carrier group is in new condition. The bolt face remains crisp and clean with only minor carbon markings observed. The exterior metalwork is superb, with no dents, dings, gouges, marks, or wear of any type.
Cosmetically, the exterior metalwork finish is also in beautiful, like new condition with no use or handling marks observed, whatsoever. The HK G3 correct extended rear double push pin trigger housing is in new condition and the original A2 stock and forend display only minor handling marks in the original polymer components.
