This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarely seen Heckler & Koch AG-C/EGLM 40x46mm grenade launcher with an HK stand-alone stock system. This is an FFL/SOT Dealer Sample Only restricted destructive device only available by law to Dealers and/or Law Enforcement agencies.
This model is the EGLM (Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module) factory marked model, and not the more commonly seen GLM version. While both are very similar systems derived from HK’s original AG36 family, the EGLM is one of the later upgraded versions released meant to be able to mounted on NATO-used rail systems other than just a standard Picatinny rail (like the GLM models). Modules for the EGLM were developed for the FN SCAR and other rail-specific systems. This specific model will come with the HK factory standalone stock interface.
This rarely seen launcher system is in like-new condition and also comes with its original factory H&K box and manual. This model is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with only very minor handling marks observed in it is original factory finish. Based on its excellent overall condition, it appears that this model may be unfired outside of its initial factory testing.
Mechanically, this weapon is in fantastic condition, with all operational mechanisms performing appropriately. The metalwork is solid, with no cracks, dents, dings, malformations, or deep scratches. The chamber face is solid with a well defined firing pin. The barrel rifling remains crisp, with clear and solidly distinguishable lands and grooves noted. The action is smooth and the stock mechanism extends and locks solidly and appropriately.
Cosmetically, this model notes very few handling and/or storage marks in its original factory finish. The polymer grip and trigger housing are in outstanding, like new condition. The red and white painted inlay fire controls remain in beautiful condition, with no paint degradation noted, whatsoever. The stock and butt pad are also in outstanding condition, with no noted concerns. A single small mark in the upper part of the mounting area at the front of the barrel on the right side is the only imperfection observed.
The FFL/SOT Dealer Sample Only destructive device is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3.
Under ATF rules, Type 01, Type 02, and Type 07 dealers may only accept two DD transfer’s per SOT year. An acknowledgement letter from these types of FFL/SOT dealers will be required to process a transfer. Type 09 and Type 10 FFL/SOT dealers are exempt from this requirement.
