This Chester County Armory sale listing is for a Hatton Industries / Jersey Gun Works  S-701-SMG Avenger  (a.k.a., MAC-10) .45acp fully transferable submachine gun with accessories. .

The Jersey Gun Works versions of MAC-10’s were built and NFA registered by Hatton Industries in Indian Mills, New Jersey. Made using the same design and building principles as the original Powder Springs guns built by Military Armament Corp along with proper licensing for the Cobray logo,  the Hatton models are some of the last MAC’s to make it on the registry prior to the 1986 deadline, and were crafted using the same original design that Gordan Ingram first created as the M10.  This weapon has been recently professionally reparkerized by famed MAC guru Sam Schneider of Practical Solutions to bring a clean, consistent finish to the original model, which typically was built by Hatton Industries with an inconsistent finish between the original uppers and lowers. Practical Solutions also fully inspected, test-fired, and upgraded this model with new springs and buffer. This model runs flawlessly with standard SAAMI spec ammunition.

Purchase of this transferable machine gun will include four 30rd magazines, a metal forward K grip assembly, an original Jersey Gun Works barrel extension/shroud, a Cobray magazine loader, and an original Cobray cleaning rod.

This weapon is in fantastic, like-new mechanical and cosmetic condition, and runs flawlessly.  The metalwork is in superb condition, and does not display any dings, dents, cracks, etc. The bolt assembly shows only minor wear at the squared off point of the bolt. The bolt face remains crisp and clean, with a sharp fixed firing pin. The fire control internals note only minor surface marks. The bore rifling remains crisp, clean, and well-delineated.

Cosmetically this setup is also in excellent, like new condition, with no marks noted in the beautiful and consistent parkerized finish (see photos). The accessories note some minor use and storage marks, but the weapon itself appears like new.
