This Chester County Armory listing is for a Heckler & Koch HK51 7.62x51mm NATO transferable machine gun with a front push pin or swing-down trigger housing.

This transferable machine gun was originally converted into a full-size G3 from a German HK91 semi-auto rifle by famed Class 3 Gunsmith Bill Fleming in Collinsville, OK utilizing a push pin or swing-down conversion. This type of conversion is consistent with H&K factory-made machine guns in that it allows the machine gun to accept all modern HK full auto trigger packs.  It was then further upgraded from a G3 configuration to an HK51 setup by Vollmer Mfg. in Bloomington, IL. In addition to the push pin design and short, 8.9″ barrel the HK51s are known for, this model also features an SEF Navy style trigger group, an A3 collapsible stock, and an Advanced Armament Co. quick detach flash suppressor mount for easy attachment of an NFA silencer. It has been correctly restamped by Vollmer to read “HK 51” as the model.

Mechanically, this weapon is in outstanding condition with no mechanical concerns whatsoever. The bore remains bright and shiny with crisp clean rifling. The BCG notes only minor markings. The bolt face remains crisp and clean. The fire control group notes no wear or concerns. Cosmetically, this transferable SEF model displays minor surface scratches and small paint chips in its H&K slight gloss finish (most notably at the ejection port area), but no dents, cracks, malformations, or any causes for concern in the metalwork. The polymer forend and trigger housing appear in like new condition, with only very limited marks observed.

This fully transferable registered receiver machine gun is currently on an eForm 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “Heckler & Koch GmBH” as the manufacturer and “G3” as the model.
