This Chester County Armory listing is for a Heckler & Koch MP5 9x19mm NATO fully transferable registered receiver submachine gun.
This beautiful NFA transferable machine gun started off life as an all-German production Heckler & Koch HK 94 semi-automatic rifle imported into the US in 1984 (as designated by the IE date code). This model was then converted and NFA registered as a machine gun by Class 3 manufacturer Hard Times Armory in Brunswick, GA. This model has just recently been sent to renowned HK Class 3 Gunsmith Ralph Smith Sr. of RDTS Mfg. for a complete update to modern MP5 specifications. These updates include installation of the correct MP5 tri-lug barrel with 1/2x28mm threading, installation of an HK factory paddle magazine release, installation of an HK 3-position ambidextrous Navy trigger pack and housing with an HK factory left side extended control lever, remarking of the receiver to “HK MP5”, and a complete refinish in RDTS’s renowned HK Exact Black finish.
This fantastic transferable NFA submachine gun is in excellent, like new condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It has been inspected and test fired and functions absolutely flawlessly in all fire modes with standard 9x19mm ammunition. The barrel is in factory new condition, having only been test fired for function upon installation. The HK bolt and bolt carrier group are in excellent condition with only very minor finish wear observed. The bolt face remains crisp and clean with no concerns. The exterior metalwork is flawless, and notes no dents, dings, gouges, malformations, etc. The fire controls are in excellent condition with only minor markings observed.
Cosmetically, the exterior finish is also in factory new condition, with no observable handling or use marks in the HK Exact Black finish. The HK MP5 SEF Navy style housing is in like new condition with no handling or use marks. The HK factory original A3 stock and forend display only minimal handling marks.
This incredible investment-grade HK MP5 registered receiver model is currently on an eForm ready Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork lists “HECKLER AND KOCH GMBH” as the manufacturer and “94” as the model.
