This Chester County Armory listing is for a factory original Sturm Ruger Model KAC-556F .223/5.56mm fully transferable machine gun that is like new in box with original manual and accessories.

This four-position factory select fire machine gun was designed, built, and NFA registered by the Sturm Ruger factory, themselves. This factory variant of the AC-556 line of models features the stainless-steel Ruger factory finish (designated by the first “K” in the model’s name), along with the short 13″ barrel and factory side folding stock. In what became an even more confusing situation created by the manufacturer, this model was also sometimes referred to in some factory nomenclature as the Sturm Ruger KAC-556F (with F designating the folding stock). The folding stock was never factory offered on the 18″ barreled factory machine guns, only on semi-automatic Mini-14 models. This select-fire machine gun also proudly operates with fire positions for safe, semi-automatic, three round burst, and full-automatic.

This KAC-556K model is in superb overall condition! It appears to have been fired very little, if at all. Mechanically, the internals note no visible wear marks. The bolt face remains clean and crisp. The bore and chamber are bright and shiny with clean, well-defined rifling. The metalwork notes no cracks, gouges, dents, malformations, etc., and all operational mechanisms operate smoothly and appropriately.

Cosmetically, this model is in outstanding condition with only very minor handling marks observed. The factory original stainless-steel finish is in outstanding, above average condition. The finish is factory correct, and has not been refinished. This wood stock is in outstanding, like new condition, with no noted handling marks at all. Purchase of this model includes three factory Ruger 30rd magazines (two still in their original boxes), an original Ruger box and manual, and a Ruger factory sling.  The box is fair to good condition with storage and handling wear noted.
