This Chester County Armory listing is for a factory original Sturm Ruger Model KAC-556 .223/5.56mm fully transferable machine gun with Clyde Armory SCAR-CQB EBR stock.

This four-position factory select fire machine gun was designed, built, and NFA registered by the Sturm Ruger factory, themselves. This factory variant of the AC-556 line of models features the stainless-steel Ruger factory finish (designated by the first “K” in the model’s name), along with an 18″ Government barrel and full length rifle stock. (The 18″ barrel on AC-556’s is often considered the “Government” barrel, as it incorporates a bird cage flash suppressor and a winged front sight with bayonet lug, as compared to the original standard Mini-14 barrel that utilized a single front sight blade only). This select-fire machine gun also proudly operates with fire positions fire controls for safe, semi-automatic, three round burst, and full-automatic. This model will come installed in a Clyde Armory SCAR-CQB EBR stock specifically designed for the AC-556.

This KAC-556 model is in excellent overall condition! This weapon runs flawlessly in all modes with standard SAAMI spec ammunition. Mechanically, the internals note only slight visible wear marks. The bolt face remains clean and crisp. The bore and chamber are bright and shiny with clean, well-defined rifling. The metalwork notes no cracks, gouges, dents, malformations, etc., and all operational mechanisms operate smoothly and appropriately.

Cosmetically, this model is also in very good condition with only very minor handling marks observed in the original stainless steel finish.  This EBR stock is in like-new condition with only one observed small handling marks on the left side of the stock below the serial number.   Purchase of this model will include a new condition 30rd Ruger factory magazine and the original factory birch rifle stock and front handguard.
