Sentinel Arms Striker-12 12ga Combat and Riot Control Shotgun, Registered Destructive Device
Status: In Stock / Please Call to Purchase
This Chester County Armory listing is for a Sentinel Arms Striker-12 12ga rotating cylinder combat and riot control shotgun. Due to a “No Sporting Purpose” decision by then Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen in 1994, this product is designated as an NFA Destructive Device.
Based off the original Armsel Striker riot control combat shotgun designed by Hilton Walker, and first brought to production in South Africa, the Sentinel Arms Striker-12 was the only US produced version of the Armsel Striker that was made under official license from the original designer. While the Cobray/SWD Street Sweeper models were arguably better known in popular culture in the US, the Striker-12 was known for being a better functioning, more robust model that was truer to the original design, and shared many common parts with the original Armsel Striker.
This particular model has had its barrel shortened from the original 18″ model length to only 12″ and has had a breecher device installed at the muzzle. It has also been upgraded with a Picatinny-style optic rail.
This NFA registered Destructive Device is in excellent overall condition. Mechanically, it appears to have been fired very little. The internal components note hardly any wear and the barrel remains bright and shiny. The 12 round rotating drum system operates appropriately, and the folding stock mechanism is strong and secure. Cosmetically, this weapon is in very good condition, and notes only minor surface handling scuffs and marks in its original gray/green parkerized finish, with some minor wear on the sharp edges, specifically around the folding stock (see photos). All noted marks are cosmetic only in nature.
This Sentinel Arms Striker-12 12ga rotating cylinder combat and riot control shotgun, NFA Destructive Device, is currently on a Form 3 for easy eForm transfer.
Individuals: prior to purchase, please make sure your Class 3 FFL/SOT dealer can accept a Destructive Device transfer. Under ATF rules, Type 01, Type 02, and Type 07 dealers may only accept two DD transfer’s per SOT year. Type 09 and Type 10 FFL/SOT dealers are exempt from this requirement.
