This Chester County Armory listing is for an SWD Inc. M15AC NFA registered Lightning Link machine gun conversion device that has been professionally installed and properly setup for select-fire use in an all German factory Heckler & Koch MR223 5.56mm NATO 11″ barreled NFA short barrel rifle. The SWD M15AC Lightning Link that is used to power this machine gun setup is the first model Lightning Link that was NFA registered by Sylvia and Wayne Daniels and is serialized as AC001 (AC stands for Auto Connector).

Rarely seen as select-fire transferable machine gun model, this factory original 11″ barreled HK MR223 host rifle is completely German-made by HK with all original German components. The internal fire controls have been upgraded to a select -fire system for proper use with a Lightning Link (safe, semi-auto, and full-auto) and the receiver has been professionally updated with the proper corresponding fire control engravings.  All of the gunsmithing required for proper fitting of the NFA registered Lightning Link was performed by renowned Class 3 Gunsmith John Cizek of JECIII.

This setup is in outstanding, like new condition. The MR2233 host SBR has not been fired outside of gunsmith testing upon proper setup and fitment of a Lightning Link. Under John’s amazing workmanship, this setup runs absolutely flawlessly in all fire modes with standard SAAMI spec .223REm or 5.56mm NATO ammunition.  The SWD M15AC Lighting Link is also in outstanding mechanical condition with no operational concerns and only minor use marks are observed in its original SWD finish. Purchase of this machine gun setup will also include two additional paddles for the SWD M15AC Lightning Link, an original HK factory 30rd 5.56 steel magazine that carries the desired Restricted/LEO engravings, and as the host SBR’s original German factory owner’s manual.

This weapon system will require two separate NFA transfers (one for the registered Lightning Link and one for the NFA short barrel rifle). The SWD M15AC Lightning Link is not married to the host and may be lawfully removed and utilized in other host weapons.

This machine gun device is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “SW Daniel” as the manufacturer and “M15AC” as the model. The current Form 3 for the SBR lists “Heckler & Koch GmbH” as the manufacturer and the model as “MR223.”
