This Chester County Armory listing is for a rare and hard-to-find factory original Dornaus and Dixon, Inc Bren Ten Marksman Special Match .45acp semi-auto pistol. This model is one of only 250 made in this configuration by D&D, originally built for Marksman Police and Shooter Supply in Glenview, IL.
Mechanically, this model is in excellent condition and appears to have been fired very little. The action remains silky smooth with a solid rail to frame lockup. The fire controls note only minor wear. The bolt face remains crisp and solid. The Bore and chamber remain bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling.
Cosmetically, this model is in very good condition. The finish remains all original and the exterior notes some minor handling marks at spots, but no cracks, dents, dings, etc. Overall, the finish is very good, however the right side of the slide does note some minor finish wear and markings from what appears to be metal to metal contact resistance from storage (see photos).
is pistol will come with one factory original magazine, as well as a like-new factory original D&D Inc Owner’s Manual in its original factory sleeve.
