This Chester County Armory listing is for a Colt factory original rifle length handguard designed to fit the a Colt M16A1 machine gun for use with the under-barrel mounted Colt CGL-4 (aka, XM148) 40mm grenade launcher.

This handguard is in excellent New Old Stock condition with only minor storage/handling marks (see pictures). It has never been used or mounted. This is NOT a reproduction handguard, and we acquired it directly from a former Colt executives personal collection.
