This Chester County Armory listing is for an excellent condition Valmet M76 7.62x39mm fully transferable and upgraded AK-47 type machine gun.

Utilizing a converted Valmet M76 NFA registered transferable machine gun receiver, this model has been professionally upgraded and modernized by famed AK gunsmith Mike Friend of Firing Line in Wyandotte, OK. Created by Mike to be a Krinkov/AK-74 type hybrid, this spectacular model is chambered in the AK favorite 7.62x39mm and features a 12.5″ barrel with an original Arsenal four piece flash hider threaded in the Krinkov pattern of RH M24x1.5mm. The stock is a left-side folding Krinkov triangle model and the trunnion and sight, top cover, and furniture have all been upgraded, as well, to fit the modernized AK-47 pattern. All parts were upgraded and installed in new condition by Mike Friend, completely refinished in a matte black, and the weapon was thoroughly tested for performance and functionality by Firing Line.

Mechanically, this weapon is in excellent overall used condition. The metalwork notes no dings, dents, cracks, malformation, etc., whatsoever. The internals note only minor operational wear through firing since the upgrades were completed. The chrome-lined rifling of the bore remains well-defined, with crisp lands and grooves. Cosmetically, this weapon is also in excellent overall condition, with a beautiful matte finish that has only pin-head sized handling marks of note. The Arsenal flash hider does note some minor wear on the left side of the weapon (see photos), but nothing more than cosmetic in nature.

This excellent, modernized transferable machine gun package is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 that lists “Finland” as the manufacturer and “M76” as the model.
