Sterling Mk V 9x19mm NATO Taylor/Andrewski Integrally Suppressed Transferable Sub Machine Gun

Status: In-Stock / Please Call to Purchase

This Chester County Armory listing is for a spectacular, like-new condition, British-designed Sterling Mk V (Mark 5) 9x19mm NATO integrally suppressed transferable sub machine gun built by John Andrewski on a Taylor Manufacturing registered tube. .

Arguably, one of the quietest and most reliable integrally suppressed sub machine guns ever designed (some will argue even quieter and softer shooting then the most recognized in this class, the venerable MP5SD), the Sterling Mk V (or L34A1, as it is known by its British military designation) was one of the first sub machine guns adapted specifically for covert use by inclusion of a ported barrel and an integrated suppressor.  Even though the Mark 5 continues use of the Sterling’s original open-bolt design, the pairing of the side breech opening, ported barrel, and suppressor makes for one of the quietest models ever designed.

This particular transferable machine gun was created by famed gunsmith John Andrewski using a Taylor Manufacturing registered machine gun tube and an original Sterling machine gun parts kit. The permanently affixed integral suppressor is a KGB Armament MK5 suppressor. All assembly and gunsmithing work on this model was performed by John Andrewski, himself.

This weapon is in absolutely fantastic, like-new condition. It is arguably one of the nicest condition Mark 5’s we have ever had the pleasure of offering for sale. John Andrewski’s work is always impeccable, and this model certainly lives up to that reputation. It appears that this model has been fired very little, if at all. The bolt-face is clean, well defined,  and the bolt assembly notes no wear marks other than what is to be expected from normal metal-to-metal cycling contact. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling.  The suppressor appears clean with no noted build-up. The metalwork is perfect, with no cracks, dents, dings, gouges, malformations, etc. Even the exterior crinkle finish on this gun is immaculate! The only handling or use marks noted at all on this model are two small points on the wood forearm where the metal corners of the under-folded stock make contact with underside of the forearm while folded.

This weapon will come with one like-new condition 34rd magazine. This matte black magazine does not appear to have ever been loaded, as there are no wear marks whatsoever, and the spring tension is extremely stiff.

This fully transferable sub machine gun and suppressor are both currently on Form 3’s for easy transfer. This weapon will require two NFA tax stamps (machine gun and suppressor).
