This Chester County Armory sale listing is for an original Cobray marked Military Armament Corp. Model Ingram M10 (aka, MAC-10) .45acp fully transferable submachine gun.

Manufactured in the famed Powder Springs, GA factory by Military Armament Corp., MAC-10 models built here remain the most well known and desired versions of Gordon Ingram’s original Model M10 submachine gun design. This is mostly due to the excellent build quality and defining build features in use by MAC at this location, prior to the its initial bankruptcy and cheapening of the design in both quality and materials by subsequent licensed manufacturers. This beautiful select-fire transferable open-bolt machine gun is in its original MAC M10 factory configuration with 5.7″ factory barreled upper, Cobray marked wire telescoping stock,  front grip strap, and proudly continues to display its original factory finish. It also comes with new condition Lage Manufacturing accessory upgrades, including a new, unfired Lage MAX-10/45 mk2 slow fire upper and a Lage telescoping stock.  Purchase will also include three 30rd magazines, an original MAC aluminum cleaning rod, and an original magazine loader.

This model has been test fired and functions flawlessly with standard .45acp 230gr NATO SAAMI spec ammunition. Based upon its serial number, this model was originally manufactured in 1973, making it a Curio & Relic eligible model by fulfilling ATF’s age requirement for inclusion.

Overall, this weapon is in excellent condition. Mechanically, the metalwork is solid, with no dents, dings, cracks, or malformations of any type. The fire control internals and original factory bolt group display only minor use and finish wear. The original bolt face is crisp and well-defined. The original barrel remains bright and shiny with clean, well-delineated rifling. The included Lage Manufacturing upper is in new condition, having only been recently installed for purposes of display.

Cosmetically, this transferable submachine gun is also in excellent condition. The original factory finish notes only minor surface markings at spots, but is in above average condition for the MAC family of weapons, where the finish was often marred from factory production. The original barrel notes some minor exterior bluing wear. There are no structural or physical concerns noted on the weapon, whatsoever.  The Lage upper notes only minimal handling marks in its original exterior matte finish.

This C&R license eligible model is both a fantastic entry-grade weapon to the world of NFA, as well as a great investment opportunity as the steady increases of price and value continue to move upward in the family of NFA MAC weapons.
