This Chester County Armory listing is for an excellent condition Heckler & Koch Model HK53 A2 5.56mm NATO transferable NFA registered receiver machine gun.

Originally designed as a more compact version of a Heckler & Koch HK33 or HK33K, the HK53 was one of the first personal defense style weapons to from Heckler & Koch that featured both a short barrel length weapon combined with a major rifle caliber. It’s overall size and handling is very similar to the venerable MP5 platform, for which H&K is most commonly known for.

This beautiful condition transferable machine gun is a registered receiver model built and originally NFA registered by Fleming Firearms through the full-auto conversion of a German factory-made HK 93 semi-automatic rifle.  This model features a correct HK53 8.3″ length barrel and has been correctly restamped to read “HK 53″ as the model. It is fitted with an A2 fixed rifle stock. The original receiver is IB date coded. The bolt and bolt carrier also have matching IB date codes. This model has also been upgraded to feature a modern HK Navy-style SEF trigger group and housing that has been properly clipped and pinned. Due to the conversion design of Bill Fleming, this registered receiver model is capable of being upgraded by a competent gunsmith to a three or four position ambidextrous trigger housing in the future, if so desired.

This transferable machine gun setup is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. This model runs just like you would expect a Heckler & Koch model to run….absolutely flawlessly. The bolt carrier group and internals note only minor wear.  The bore is bright and shiny, with crisp, clean rifling. The full-auto SEF trigger group is in excellent condition, with only minor finish wear noted.

Cosmetically, the exterior finish is in overall fantastic condition, with only very minor handling marks noted in the matte black finish (most notably a small mark on the top of the front sight hood).  The metalwork notes no dings, dents, scratches, gouges, malformations, etc. and only the smallest amount of finish wear in the exterior matte black finish. The polymer furniture is also in excellent condition, with only light handling marks observed in the forearm and stock. The clipped and pinned polymer SEF Navy housing is in factory new condition.

This spectacular machine gun setup is fully transferable and is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “Heckler & Koch” as the manufacturer of this transferable machine gun and “HK53” as the model.
