Heckler & Koch MP5A3 9X19MM NATO Transferable Sub Machine Gun, Registered Trigger Box
Status: In-Stock / Please Call to Purchase
This Chester County Armory listing is for a fantastic condition Heckler & Koch MP5A3 9x19mm NATO transferable sub machine gun with a registered trigger box.
This desirable, transferable machine gun is in like new condition, having recently been upgraded by famed HK gunsmith Ralph Smith at RDTS Manufacturing. This model is an NFA two-stamp machine gun set-up. The NFA registered machine gun is a removable Group Industries SEF trigger box and the host firearm is a former Heckler & Koch HK94 that has been converted to an NFA registered Short Barrel Rifle by RDTS. These units are not married, and the trigger box may be removed and used on different shelf-style HK host weapons.
This HK MP5A3 is in outstanding overall condition! It features all of the desired MP5 upgrades, including a new HK tri-lug barrel, paddle magazine release, SEF Navy-style trigger housing, and it has been correctly remarked to “HK MP5” and completely refinished in HK Black to match HK’s current production models. This weapon has not been fired outside of performance testing by RDTS after the upgrades were completed.
Mechanically, this transferable machine gun set-up is in excellent condition! It runs flawlessly (like an MP5 should). The registered trigger box, itself, notes very little wear markings from use. All internal components are in excellent condition, with no functional or structural concerns, whatsoever. The SBR host gun mechanically is also in fantastic, like new condition, with no operating concerns. The barrel rifling is virtually brand new, having only been fired for test and evaluation purposes by RDTS upon installation. The bolt carrier group also notes very little use markings.
Cosmetically, this setup is also in like new condition. The exterior receiver finish notes no handling or use marks. The rear diopter sight does note one very minor mark in the parkerization at the top of the sight (see photos). Also, the two-piece HK production seam on the top of the A3 stock does note some minor separation, as is often seen with A3 stocks from the mid 1980’s.
This transferable HK machine gun trigger box and MP5 host SBR are both currently on Form 3’s for easy, eFile capable transfers.
