This Chester County Armory sale listing is for a Russian-style AK-105 5.45x39mm Russian transferable select-fire machine gun.
The AK-105 was developed as a short barrel carbine version of the Russian AK-74M, or, more accurately, as replacement for the AKS-74U for domestic use by the Russian Army. Chambered in 5.45x39mm Russian, this spectacular transferable machine gun was meticulously crafted by the famed AK gunsmiths at Piece of History Firearms LLC in Tuscon, AZ using rare original Russian and Bulgarian AK-105 parts and a transferable Dillion Precision Products converted Min Shan Arsenal AK47S steel NFA registered receiver. POHF’s impressive work on this model have replicated the receiver markings exactly as what would be expected on a true Russian weapon, right down to the use of the Izhmash arrow logo on the receiver. (The registered receiver also retains its legally-required original manufacturer and importation markings, as well).
This fantastic model is excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Mechanically, it has be properly converted with a full length guide rail to protect the full-auto trip mechanism. The weapon runs flawlessly with standard 5.45x39mm Russian ammunition. The internal mechanisms show only very limited wear. The bolt face is clean and strong with only minor finish wear. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp, clean, well-delineated rifling.
Cosmetically, this amazing weapon is also in outstanding condition, with only limited handling marks noted in the matte black finish. The selector lever engagement does note the tell-tale “AK line” from operation, but apart from that, the finish is intact on all areas of the machine gun. This NFA transferable machine gun is currently available on an eForm capable Form 3 that lists “Dillion Precision Products” as the manufacturer and “AK47S” as the model.
