This Chester County Armory listing is for a stunning, like-new condition Heckler & Koch MP5SD 9mm Parabellum integrally suppressed transferable registered receiver submachine gun.
This incredible model was originally built in Oberndorf, Germany by Heckler & Koch GmbH in 1986 as a semi-automatic model 94 rifle. It was then subsequently imported into the US, where it was converted and NFA registered into a transferable integrally suppressed submachine gun by Hard Times Armory in Smyrna, GA. The receiver itself is the registered component of this model.
From there, this NFA transferable submachine was recently upgraded to full-German factory MP5SD specs by renowned HK gunsmith Ralph Smith, Sr. of RDTS Manufacturing in Cave Creek, AZ. This spectacular model now features a German HK Navy-style four position fire control housing with safe, semi-auto, three round burst, and full-auto select fire controls, paddle magazine release, both a German original A2 fixed stock as well as a German original A3 telescoping stock, and has been correctly remarked to “MP5SD.” The integral ported barrel correctly denotes the German thread pattern of M18x1 RH. The included NFA registered removable suppressor is made directly by RDTS Manufacturing and is their 12″ MP5SD HE (for High Efficiency) model. This RDTS suppressor maintains the original size and external specifications of the factory HK SD suppressor, yet is considerably quieter and better functioning than the original technology that has since been outdated and replaced by HK. The suppressor has been serial number matched by RDTS for this transferable machine gun and denotes the weapon number on the suppressor, as well. It is notable that this is the same way factory HK silencers are matched to their intended host weapon. Purchase will include one 30rd German factory HK magazine.
This transferable weapon system is a gorgeous, investment grade transferable machine gun setup that is in amazing, like-new condition. This beautiful weapon is both in stunning mechanical and cosmetic condition, having only been test fired by RDTS upon completion of their upgrades. It functions flawlessly with standard SAAMI 9mm Parabellum ammunition in both sonic and subsonic configurations. The bolt carrier notes only minor markings. The bolt face is crisp and clean. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. This model is in pristine finished condition on all polymer and metal exterior components, with no noted handling or use marks in the HK Exact Black finish that RDTS is renowned for. The included NFA suppressor is also in factory new condition, as well, having only been fired by Ralph Smith during test-firing of the submachine gun.
This fully transferable NFA submachine gun and NFA silencer are currently on Form 3s for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork for these models list “Heckler & Koch” as the manufacturer and “94S” as the model of the transferable machine gun. The transferable NFA silencer is listed as “RDTS Manufacturing” and “MP5SDHE,” respectively.
