This Chester County Armory listing is for a like new condition Heckler & Koch MP5-A3 9x19mm NATO fully transferable submachine gun.

This beautiful and stunning, like new, NFA transferable machine gun started off life as an all-German production Heckler & Koch HK 94 semi-automatic rifle imported into the US in 1986 (as designated by the IG date code). This model was then converted and NFA registered as a machine gun receiver by renowned Class 3 manufacturer Bill Fleming of Fleming Firearms in Collinsville, OK.  This model has recently been completely updated with all of the modern MP5 components by another renowned Class 3 gunsmith, Mike Friend of Firing Line in Wyandotte, OK. Updates include a paddle magazine release, a newly installed B&T Swiss manufactured MP5 tri-lug barrel with 1/2x28mm threading, remarking of the model to  “MP5”, and a complete refinish to match the original HK Black finish. The shelf style fire controls have also been updated utilizing an H&K factory 4 position ambidextrous Navy-style pack and housing with safe, semi-automatic, three round burst, and full-automatic selections, and a new stock bushing and rollers have also been installed.

This fantastic transferable NFA submachine gun is in absolutely excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically! It has been inspected and test fired upon the completion of the upgrades by Mike Friend functions absolutely flawlessly in all fire modes with standard 9x19mm ammunition. The bore is in new condition with bright and shiny rifling.  The factory original IF dated coded bolt and bolt carrier group are in excellent condition with only minor finish wear observed.  The bolt face remains crisp and clean with no concerns. The exterior metalwork notes no dents, dings, gouges, malformations, etc. The fire controls are in like-new condition.

Cosmetically, the exterior metalwork finish is also in beautiful, like new condition. The HK MP5 factory housing has been properly clipped and pinned, and is in like new condition with no handling or use marks. The HK factory original A3 stock and forend also display no handling or use marks. The top of the rear drum sight notes minor finish wear on the crown of the drum.

This incredible investment-grade HK MP5 is currently on an eForm ready Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork lists “HECKLER AND KOCH GMBH” as the manufacturer and “MP5” as the model.
