This Chester County Armory listing is for a Heckler & Koch HK23E 5.56mm NATO transferable belt-fed select-fire complete machine gun setup.

This beautiful transferable machine gun setup starts with a fully transferable Fleming Firearms NFA registered HK sear, currently installed in a three position SEF pack and housing that has been setup for use in an E-gun configuration. The sear is NFA registered separately from the host firearm and may be moved from host gun to host gun. This sear was professionally installed into its current trigger pack and setup with its host by renowned HK gunsmith Mike Otte of Michaels Machines. The trigger pack includes Otte’s famous “one piece” hammer that will allow for universal use of the trigger pack in all HK platforms.

The host gun for this machine gun setup is a Michaels Machines MM23E 5.56mm NATO Title One rifle, and will transfer as such separately from the NFA registered machine gun sear. It’s original semi-auto trigger pack from Michaels Machines is also included, allowing the host rifle to be returned to a semi-auto configuration at any time.

This fantastic weapon also features a clubfoot stock, an extended charging handle, forward grip, bipod, and a feed mechanism adapter that allows for use of standard SAW ammunition boxes and pouches. It also includes two carry handles. One is an original length and size. The second is a shorter model to allow for continued use of the carry handle with an optic installed on the firearm. Purchase of this model will also include a spare 23E extractor and spring, a SAW pouch, an original HK 21E/23E manual, and a large bag of metal ammunition links.

This transferable machine gun setup is in excellent overall mechanical and cosmetic condition. It runs flawlessly with standard SAAMI spec 5.56mm NATO ammunition. The internals are in excellent condition, with only minor wear marks observed. The barrel remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The bolt and bolt carrier note very limited wear. The fire controls are in outstanding condition. Cosmetically, this model is also in overall excellent condition. The metalwork notes no dents, cracks, malformations, etc. The finish is in overall excellent condition, with only minor handling and use marks observed (see photos). The only points of wear observed are some small marks in the finish at the ejection port and the tell-tale operational line from engagement of the selector switch on the left side of the SEF pack due to the metal-to-metal contact of normal selector operation.

This incredible investment-grade HK23E belt-fed machine gun setup is currently on an eForm ready Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork for this model lists the NFA registered sear manufacturer as “Heckler and Koch” and the model as “HK.” The host rifle will transfer as a standard Michaels Machines MM23E 5.56mm NATO semi-automatic rifle.
