This Chester County Armory listing is for a Heckler & Koch HK MP5K-PDW 9x19mm NATO transferable double push pin submachine gun. .

This beautiful NFA transferable double push pin submachine gun started off life as a German factory Heckler & Koch semi-automatic HK 94 9mm rifle. After being imported into the US, this receiver was converted and NFA registered as double push pin MP5 submachine gun by Bill Fleming of Fleming Firearms in Collinsville, OK. The double push pin conversion allows this model to accept all HK factory machine gun trigger packs without any modifications, making it the closest conversion style to a true factory HK machine gun.

After its original conversion,  this transferable submachine gun was further upgraded in by renowned HK Class 3 Gunsmith Terry Dyer of Heyworth, IL when he transformed it from an MP5 to an MP5K-PDW model using an original German MP5K parts kit. These upgraded parts include the hard-to-come-by original German production PDW tri-lug barrel that is threaded to US Navy specs in 1/2×32, an original factory HK MP5K bolt, bolt carrier, and locking piece, as well as the correct HK logo factory PDW folding stock and a vertical foregrip. The double push pin design of the original conversion also allowed this model to utilize all original German machine gun trigger packs and housings. This includes its current pack, which is a German factory original four position ambidextrous MP5K trigger pack and housing that features safe, semi-auto, three round burst, and full-auto fire controls.  Purchase of this model will include Terry Dyer’s original  Certificate of Authenticity showing that he performed the inspection, refinishing, and upgrades to this superb MP5K-PDW example.

This transferable submachine gun is in excellent overall mechanical and cosmetic condition. It runs flawlessly with standard SAAMI spec 9mm ammunition. The internals are in excellent condition, with only minor wear marks observed. The German PDW barrel remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean rifling. The bolt and bolt carrier note very limited wear. The fire controls are in outstanding condition. Cosmetically, this model is also in overall excellent condition. The metalwork notes no dents, cracks, malformations, etc. The finish is in overall excellent condition, with only minor handling and use marks observed (see photos).

This incredible investment-grade MP5K-PDW is currently on an eForm ready Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current NFA paperwork for this model lists the manufacturer as “Heckler and Koch GmbH” and the model as “MP5.”
