This Chester County Armory listing is for a factory built Frankford Arsenal XM-177 5.56mm NATO fully transferable select-fire machine gun.

Built and NFA registered by Frankford Arsenal using an Olympic Arms manufactured blank receiver, this gorgeous transferable, AUTO marked select-fire machine gun lower receiver features a standard milspec front pin size, allowing it to accept all milspec sized M16/M4 uppers. It currently proudly operates with an LWRC International M6A2 short-stroke gas piston carbine upper with a 10.5″ barrel and factory quad rails as a variant of the MK18 platform.  Along with it’s full-auto, three position fire controls, this transferable machine gun setup also features Troy HK style folding Battle sights, Magpul polymer furniture (CTR stock, MOE rail mounted vertical foregrip, MOE A2 pistol grip and a B.A.D. ambidextrous bolt release lever), along with installed anti-walk trigger and hammer pins. This model also features a Colt H2 heavy buffer for a flawless short barrel machine gun operation with mitigated recoil.  Purchase of this weapon will include three factory new 30rd magazines (one Magpul Gen 2 windowed magazine, one Colt factory aluminum magazine, and one Lancer translucent smoke polymer magazine).

This beautiful transferable machine gun is in excellent overall condition. Mechanically, this model is in fantastic shape. This weapon has been test fired and runs flawlessly with standard 5.56mm SAAMI spec ammunition. The internal fire controls note very little wear. The nickel-boron coated full-auto BCG is in excellent condition with no noticeable wear and only minimal carbon scoring on the bolt head. The rifle bore remains bright and shiny with crisp, clean, well-delineated rifling. The metalwork notes no dents, dings, gouges, cracks, malformations, etc. .

Cosmetically, this weapon is also in excellent condition. The metalwork notes only minor surface handling and use marks in the exterior metal finish of both the upper and lower receiver, along with a slight polish to the top of the lower receiver to allow proper fitment to the attached upper. The rail system notes some minor spots from attachment and removal of accessories, but nothing that is more than cosmetic in value.

This Frankford Arsenal XM177 is wonderful investment machine gun in the M16 family for the collector and investor who wants a more modern M16/M4 setup for firing, without destroying the collectability of a significantly higher priced original Colt model.
