This Chester County Armory listing is for a rarely seen M16/AR-15 belt-fed transferable LMG machine gun package with both 9mm Parabellum and 5.56mm NATO belt-fed uppers.
This unique select-fire belt-fed machine gun setup consists of an NFA fully transferable SWD M15AC Lightning Link machine gun conversion device that has been professionally installed and setup by famed Lightning Link gunsmith John Ciszek into a Dualfeed-LMG AR-15/M16 lower receiver that physically resembles an M249 lower by Black Widow Arms. This model is setup to allow the Lighting LInk to be select-fire, with three position fire controls of safe, semi-automatic, and full automatic. In addition to the stylings of an M249 lower, the dual feed design of this Black Widow receiver allows for both belts and standard 5.56mm NATO magazines to be used with the included FightLite Industries MCR Dual Feed 5.56mm NATO 12.5″ barreled factory upper. Also in addition, this upper can also be swapped out with the included Freedom Ordnance FM-9 9x19mm belt-fed upper to allow for both a 9mm belt fed machine gun and a 5.56mm belt-fed machine gun to be created using the same lower and Lightning Link setup. Due to the design of the upper, the FM-9 9mm upper can only be operated with 9mm belted ammunition and has no capability to function with magazines like the included 5.56mm MCR upper.
Purchase of this package will include the following:
(1) SW Daniel NFA registered fully transferable M15AC Lightning Link with three total paddles.
(1) Black Widow Arms Dualfeed-LMG lower receiver with select-fire controls installed for Lightning Link use.
(1) FightLite Industries MCR 5.56mm NATO 12.5″ barreled dual-feed (belt and magazine) complete upper. Upper includes bolt carrier setup for Lightning Link use, along with fixed iron sights, Magpul vertical front grip, an M249 SAW ammunition box, and two Colt 30rd aluminum magazines. (No 5.56mm links or linked ammunition are included).
(1) Freedom Ordnance FM-9 9x19mm belt-fed M16/AR-15 M4 upper. Upper includes bolt carrier setup for Lightning Link use, along with flip-up iron sights, a 150rd ammunition box, and approximately 1200 unused Freedom Ordnance 9mm factory ammunition links.
Mechanically, this entire setup is in outstanding condition with no operational concerns whatsoever. All installation and gunsmithing adjustments for the NFA registered Lightning Link were performed by famed Lightning Link Gunsmith John Ciszek of JECIII. The SWD M15AC Lightning Link is in solid condition, with no dents, dings, cracks, gouges, etc. It notes only minor wear in its original factory finish. The lower receiver and fire controls are in like-new mechancial condition, having only been fired for testing and installation of the Lightning Link. Both included uppers feature clean, crisp barrels and only minor markings from bolt fitment for use with a Lightning Link. This machine gun setup runs flawlessly with standard SAAMI-spec ammunition with either upper.
Cosmetically, this entire weapon setup is in like new condition, with minimal handling or use marks observed. Both the FightLite MCR 5.56 upper and the Freedom Ordnance FM-9 9mm upper are also in similar condition, having only been minimally test fired and feature little to no exterior marks.
This weapon system will require only one NFA transfer for the registered Lightning Link (and a standard Title One transfer for the rifle receiver). The Lightning Link is not married to the receiver and may be lawfully removed and utilized in other host weapons (all NFA rules apply regarding removal).
This machine gun device is currently on an eForm-capable Form 3 for quick and easy transfer. The current Form 3 lists “SW Daniel” as the manufacturer and “M15AC” as the model.
